We’ll let you call these “Brazilian Truffles,” but Brigadeiro (Bree-gah-day-ro) are Brazil’s version of this favorite sweet. Adapted from her grandmother’s recipe, Paula Barbosa continues to make these delicious treats with condensed milk, cocoa, butter and other fine, organic ingredients.

The cooking process is slow until the ingredients reach the right velvety consistency. They are then hand-rolled into chocolate sprinkles or nuts. Flavors include intense chocolate, ginger with white chocolate, coffee cardamom and, oh, so many more.

We found these chocolates are very sweet. We include them because we appreciate not everyone is looking for a dark chocolate experience, and these offer a taste of home for those who love Brazilian treats.

Shipping: My Sweet is located in New York so the further west the product ships the higher your shipping costs. You are able to check shipping before giving your credit card information. We tested the shipping rates on the popular 30 piece box ($66) and 1-day shipping in New York came to $16. 2-day shipping to Los Angeles cost $25.90.
